Click on preferences in the top right-hand corner of the window and then on plugins. Please read the “Kindle for PC” section (section 8.8) in the NVDA User Guide for further information about using Kindle with NVDA. If you don’t have them already, download the latest version of NVDA and download the latest version of Kindle for PC. To use this, first ensure you have the latest versions of both NVDA and Kindle. In addition, users can highlight text, add notes, perform dictionary and Wikipedia lookups and copy text to the clipboard. Users can access links, footnotes, graphics, highlighted text and user notes. This enables users to read books in browse mode, including reading with the cursor and continuous reading, and pages turn automatically as the user reads. NVDA 2017.1 supports the enhanced accessibility functionality available in Amazon Kindle for PC version 1.19 and later.
